ISLAND TERIYAKI 
1 1/2 lbs. flank or sirloin steak
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. dry ginger
1/4 tsp. cracked pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 to 3 slices fresh ginger (optional)

Mix soy sauce, sugar, oil, ginger, pepper, and garlic in bowl. Pour over flank or sirloin steak in early morning (before you go to work). Add sliced ginger to marinade. In evening, broil steak 5 minutes per side, depending on thickness. Slice across the grain. Spoon over juice.
