BAKED GARLIC CHEESE GRITS 
1 c. grits
4 c. water
1 tsp. salt

Add grits and salt to rapidly boiling water, stirring constantly. When it returns to a boil, lower heat and cook for 5 minutes.

5 or more drops Tabasco sauce 1 stick butter 1/4 c. milk 2 c. shredded cheese (cheddar or any mixture, depending on your taste) 2 eggs, beaten

Add to grits mixture, stirring until melted and thoroughly combined. Pour into well greased 1 1/2 quart casserole and bake 40 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees.
