TOP AND BOTTOM:

1/2 c. creamed butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Mix and place in shallow pan and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes (not too brown). Stir, save half for top. Place in bottom of 9"x13" pan. 2 egg whites 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 pt. whipping cream or Cool Whip
