OLD FASHIONED PUMPKIN BREAD 
3 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. salad oil
4 eggs, beaten
1 can pumpkin
2/3 c. water
1 c. chopped pecans (opt.)

Sift sugar, flour, soda, salt and spices into large mixing bowl. Make well in center. Add nuts, oil, eggs, water and pumpkin; blend well. Pour into large greased bundt pan or two loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
