BEEF PARMESAN | |
3 to 3 1/2 lb. sirloin tip, cubed twice, cut in 1 x 2 inch strips 1 onion 2 cans Ragu sauce 2 cans tomato puree Garlic salt to taste Parsley flakes 1 tbsp. sugar 1 or 2 eggs Bread crumbs Parmesan cheese Mozzarella cheese Salt & pepper to taste Oregano (opt.) Beat egg then dip meat strips in egg, then in Parmesan cheese, then in bread crumbs. In hot skillet fry breaded beef until outside is crisp, then remove to baking dish. In same skillet put onion and fry until done. Then pour in Ragu sauce, tomato puree, garlic salt, parsley flakes, sugar, salt and pepper and oregano. Pour sauce over beef, then Mozzarella cheese and repeat as long as beef lasts. The top layer of cheese should be grated. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes. |
