MUSTARD PICKLES (COLD PROCESS) 
1 c. sugar
1 c. French's prepared mustard
1 c. salt
1 gallon apple cider vinegar

Dissolve sugar, mustard, salt, in vinegar. Wash cucumbers thoroughly, pack in sterile jars and cover with mixture. Seal.

My grandma made cold mustard pickles all the time but she used saccharine instead of sugar. Haven't had them in YEARS. Best pickles I've ever had! I'd eat a whole jar in one sitting. I just might try to make these even tho I've never done anything like this ever!
