LAYERED SALAD | |
1/2 head lettuce 3 stalks celery 1 green pepper 1/2 bunch green onions 3 tomatoes 1 box of frozen peas (petites don't cook) 1 1/2 c. sour cream 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1 tbsp. sugar 1/2 lb. bacon (cooked crisp and crumble) 1 c. Swiss cheese, grated Layer each of first 6 ingredients on ingredient at a time in order given in 9 x 13 pan. Mix mayonnaise and sour cream and spread over layers. Sprinkle sugar on top and layer of bacon and Swiss cheese. Can stand, covered overnight. Cut in squares. |
