FRUIT COCKTAIL PIE 
16 oz. can fruit cocktail, drained
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
4 tbsp. brown sugar

Mix flour, sugar, soda, salt and egg by hand. Add fruit. Mix lightly until moistened. Sprinkle layer of nuts on bottom of pie plate or 9 x 9 inch pan. Pour cocktail mixture over nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve with whipped topping or ice cream. For a 9 x 13 inch pan, use 29 ounce can of fruit cocktail, drained. Double the rest of the recipe and bake 1 hour.
