APPLE CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. oil
1 can apple pie filing
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon

Beat eggs, pie filling, sugar and flour together. Add oil, vanilla, cinnamon, salt and soda. Beat well. Stir in nuts and raisins. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

Serve warm or cold. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, top with Cool Whip or serve plain.
