BROWNIES 
1/4 lb. butter
2 sqs. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Melt butter and chocolate in saucepan. Remove from heat and add the other ingredients, mix well with a wooden spoon. Pour into a buttered 8 x 8 inch pan.

Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes. Brownies are done when a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool, cut into squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
