MEATLOAF OR PATTIES | |
2 lbs. pork sausage 2 lg. onions, diced 1/4 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. salt 5 slices bread 2 lbs. ground chuck 3 eggs, beaten 1/4 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 c. hot milk or water Mix seasonings, mix sausage and hamburger. Add diced onions, beaten eggs and seasonings. Add bread and hot liquid mixture. Mix well. Put in a loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees approximately 1 hour. The meat loaf can also be made into patties and fried like hamburger, however must be fried longer to be sure it is cooked through. |
