ITALIAN CASSEROLE 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 lg. onion
2 cans tomato soup
1 c. catsup
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 eggs
1 1/3 c. milk
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. onion salt
12 slices American cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown beef and onion; season with salt and pepper to taste. Prepare crust by combining eggs beaten with milk; add flour, baking powder, and seasoning. Spread or pat 1/2 of the crust mixture into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Cover with 1/2 of beef mixture. Top with slices of cheese; then layer with remaining beef. Spread remaining crust over beef. Bake until brown, about 30 minutes.
