EASY PICKLED PEACHES | |
3/4 c. syrup from #2 1/2 can of cling peach halves 1/3 c. vinegar (white) 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed 1 cinnamon stick Pinch of allspice Bring to boil. Drop in peach halves for a few minutes. Do not leave peaches in syrup too long or peaches will break up. Take syrup off stove and let stand until cool. Put peaches in jar. Cover with the syrup. Refrigerate overnight before serving. These are good on a relish tray or as a garnish around a mound of cottage cheese or roast or ham. |
