HERSHEY SYRUP CAKE | |
1 c. butter 1 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 16 oz. can Hershey's syrup ICING: 1 stick butter 1 c. sugar 1/3 c. pet milk 1/2 c. chocolate chips 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. walnuts Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift flour and baking powder. Add flour alternating with syrup to above mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in 12 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Boil icing ingredients (butter, sugar, and milk) for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from stove. Add chocolate chips, vanilla, and walnuts. Spread over warm cake. |
