CHICKEN STEW WITH WINE 
1 whole cut up chicken
1 lb. carrots, sliced lengthwise
5 potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
1 Bermuda onion, sliced
1/2 c. olive oil
2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 cans Del Monte stewed tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 bottle dry white wine

Place all ingredients in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish and stir. Cover and bake at 400 degrees for approximately 1 1/2 hours. Stir occasionally.
