1 lb. frozen or fresh fish (haddock, orange roughy) 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese 1/3 c. dried bread crumbs 1 egg 1 tbsp. minced onion 1 tbsp. minced fresh parsley 1 tsp. minced garlic 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Cook fish by boiling or in microwave until opaque. Drain, flake and add rest of ingredients. Make into patties; makes 4. Can be frozen at this point. Fry, serve with mayonnaise or tartar sauce. |
