HOMEMADE CREAM SOUP MIX 
2 c. powdered non-fat dry milk
3/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 c. dried onion flakes
1 tsp. basil leaves
1 tsp. thyme leaves
1/2 tsp. pepper

Combine all ingredients. Store in an air tight container in refrigerator until ready to use.

TO SUBSTITUTE ONE CAN OF CONDENSED SOUP MIX: Combine 1/3 cup of mix with 1 1/4 cups cold water in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened. Add to casserole as would canned cream soup.

Yield: Equivalent of 9 cans of soup.
