COCONUT BALLS 
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 lb. dates
4 c. Rice Krispies
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 pkg. coconut

Cook egg, dates, butter and sugar for 2 minutes. Add nuts. Cook 10 minutes longer over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla and then Rice Krispies 1 cup at a time. Make into walnut size balls and roll in coconut. Can be frozen. Makes about 30 balls.
