1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. shortening
1-1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 egg whites
3 c. flour
1-3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Mixture of cinnamon and sugar

Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix thoroughly the butter, shortening, sugar, eggs, and egg whites. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Form dough into small balls and roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture.

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes.
