OATMEAL SCOTCHIES 
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick or old fashioned oats, uncooked
1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch flavored morsels

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside. In large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in oats and butterscotch flavored morsels.

Drop by level measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 7-8 minutes for chewier cookies or 9-10 minutes for crispier cookies.
