APPLE CRISP 
1 1/2 lbs. apples, sliced
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. oatmeal (uncooked)
1/3 c. butter

Arrange apples in a lightly oiled 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with lemon juice and cinnamon.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and oatmeal. Cut in butter with a fork or pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Spread over fruit. Bake in 375 degree oven 40 minutes or until apples are tender.

VARIATIONS:

Peach Crisp: Use 1 1/2 lbs. peaches.

Blueberry Crisp: Use 3 cups blueberries.
