1/2 c. shortening
1/1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. hot water
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine and bake in greased and floured cake pan at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.
