STRAWBERRY "PHILLY" PIE 
Cream 8 ounce cream cheese and 2 tablespoons milk. Spread in the bottom of a baked pie shell. Cover with 1 pint of fresh, sliced strawberries.

Cut another pint of strawberries in halves. Combine 3/4 cup white sugar, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, and 1/3 cup water. Blend well. Add strawberries and cook over low to medium heat until thick, stirring constantly. Add a few drops of red food coloring and pour over the berries in the pie shell. Chill several hours. Serve with whipped cream.
