CAMP FIRE HALIBUT | |
4 lb. fillet halibut 1 sm. can mushrooms (8 oz.) or you can use fresh ones, about 2 handsful 1 med. onion, sliced Salt Pepper Garlic powder Season all salt 1 lemon or orange, sliced 1/2 cube butter Place halibut fillets on a sheet of heavy duty tin foil. Spread the butter over the fish. Salt and pepper to taste. Add a pinch of garlic powder and lightly sprinkle the season all salt over the fish. Arrange the sliced onion and orange over the fish. Now pour the can of mushrooms (drained) over the fish. Cover with another piece of tin foil, seal the edges and place on a grill over a hot bed of coals. Let it cook for about 10 minutes or until done. This will depend on how hot your fire is. It should be moist and "flaky" when done. |
