1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening or 1 stick butter
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
5 tbsp. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

TOPPING:

1/4 c. butter or 1/2 stick butter
6 tbsp. cream
1 c. brown sugar
1 can coconut

Bring butter, cream, and sugar to a boil for a few minutes. Remove from heat and add coconut; stir and put on cake.
