SALMON OR TUNA PIE 
2 (6 1/2 or 7 oz.) cans tuna or 1 lb. can (2 c.) salmon
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. melted butter
1/4 c. chopped onion
3/4 tsp. basil
2 tbsp. minced parsley
Bread crumbs
Pepper

Break up salmon, removing skin and bones. Combine rest of ingredients except last two. Add to salmon. Pour into well greased 8 inch pie plate.

Sprinkle with bread crumbs and pepper. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes or until done. Serve at once. Pass chilled cucumber sauce. Serves 6.

This recipe is also nice with mashed potato on top instead of the bread crumbs.
Boil a few potatoes, drain and then mash with milk and butter or margarine. Spread on top the mixture already to go into the oven. Make a spiral pattern in the mashed potato with a fork. Then just follow the baking instructions for the original recipe.
