SALMON OR TUNA PIE | |
2 (6 1/2 or 7 oz.) cans tuna or 1 lb. can (2 c.) salmon 2 beaten eggs 1/2 c. milk 1 tbsp. melted butter 1/4 c. chopped onion 3/4 tsp. basil 2 tbsp. minced parsley Bread crumbs Pepper Break up salmon, removing skin and bones. Combine rest of ingredients except last two. Add to salmon. Pour into well greased 8 inch pie plate. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and pepper. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes or until done. Serve at once. Pass chilled cucumber sauce. Serves 6. |

Boil a few potatoes, drain and then mash with milk and butter or margarine. Spread on top the mixture already to go into the oven. Make a spiral pattern in the mashed potato with a fork. Then just follow the baking instructions for the original recipe.
