BEEF CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
4 c. cabbage
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. butter
1 can tomato paste
1 can tomato soup
1 can tomato sauce
1 c. cooked rice

Brown hamburger and chopped onion; salt and pepper to taste. Drain well. Coarsely chop cabbage and cook until tender; drain. Mix tomato paste, soup, and tomato sauce together; add 1/2 cup water and mix again.

Spread alternate layers of cabbage, hamburger, and rice in a large casserole. Top each layer with small pats of butter and tomato sauce mixture. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
