CURRY PICKLES 
24 med. size pickles, cube or thinly sliced

1/2 c. salt

8 c. water

1 tsp. curry powder

2 c. vinegar

2 1/2 c. sugar

1/4 c. mustard seed

1 tbsp. celery seed

Wash cucumbers, cut; drain. Combine water and salt. Pour over cut cucumbers. Stand for 5 hours. Drain, rinse good. Combine remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling. Add cucumbers and bring back to boil for few minutes. Pack into jars.
