LEBANESE BEANS IN TOMATO SAUCE 
2 pkgs. French cut frozen green beans
2 med. onions, thinly sliced
1 lg. green pepper, sliced thin
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, cut up
2 sm. pkgs. chicken herb powder (or use more)
1/2 c. water
Pepper to taste
2 sm. cans of tomato sauce (not paste)

Fry onions in oil until golden. Add green pepper and beans. Stir fry. Add water, garlic, herb powder and green pepper. Cook covered 5 to 10 minutes. At the end, add tomato sauce and cook longer. Can be served hot or cold, and can be done in advance. Serves 10.
