OATMEAL CAKE 
2 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar

Blend until very light. 1 1/2 c. water

Mix and set aside. 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. salt

Sift ingredients. Add to 1st mixture. Add oatmeal last. Bake in large greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 40 minutes in 350 degree oven.

TOPPING FOR OATMEAL CAKE:

1/4 lb. butter, melted
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Blend thoroughly. Spread over cake straight out of oven. Bake 20 minutes longer. Serve with whipped cream.
