SPANISH STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. round steak
3/4 tsp. salt
1 sm. onion, sliced
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 sm. green pepper, cut in strips
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
2 c. tomato sauce
2 bay leaves
Pepper to taste

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Put steak in a shallow pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Put onion slices and pepper strips on top of steak. Mix rest of ingredients, heat and pour over steak. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
