CHEESE DANISH | |
2 pkgs. (8 oz.) cream cheese 2 pkgs. crescent rolls 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. lemon juice 1 egg, separated Pat out into a 9x13 inch pan the first package of crescent rolls. Mix egg yolk, cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and lemon juice. Pour over rolls. Put second package of rolls on cheese mixture. Beat egg white and brush on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Make a glaze of lemon juice and powered sugar (I used milk and lemon juice with the powdered sugar). Pour over the Danish when removed from the oven. |
