MYSTERY PIE 
3 egg whites
20 Ritz crackers
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. whipping cream
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Maraschino cherries

Beat egg whites until very stiff; add the sugar gradually, beating continuously. Crush crackers coarsely and mix with the baking powder and nuts; fold into egg whites with vanilla. Spread into a buttered pie pan, leaving indentation in center. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes; COOL. Whip cream and fill baked shell, chill in refrigerator until ready to serve. Garnish with cherries.
