SANDS 
1 lb. butter
1 c. (chopped small) pecans
4 c. self-rising flour
8 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box confectioners sugar

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Add milk, flour and nuts. Roll small amounts in shape of small finger.

Bake at 350°F for 20 to 30 minutes or until light brown. Place on wax paper or on something to cool. Roll in powdered sugar. Keep in airtight container.
