EASY PEACH COBBLER 
1 lg. can sliced peaches, in heavy syrup
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. shortening

Sift all dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening. Add milk and stir just enough to mix. Spread over bottom of greased 9"x13" pan. Mixture will just barely cover the bottom. Pour the peaches, juice and all, on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, until crust comes to the top and is brown.
