SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
3 c. sifted flour (plain, sifted before measuring)
3 c. granulated sugar
2 sticks butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda
6 eggs, separated
1/2 pt. (8 oz.) sour cream

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks one at a time. Mix soda and flour. Alternate flour and sour cream into creamed mixture. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. Remove from pan immediately.
