GROUND BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 med. onions, chopped
2 tbsp. garlic salt
2 tbsp. paprika
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. oregano
2 cans tomatoes (1 qt.)
1 1/2 c. macaroni
12 slices cheese (1/2 lb. block cheese, sliced)
1 sm. can tomato sauce

Brown ground beef and onions. Add garlic salt, paprika, sugar, basil, thyme, oregano and tomatoes. Cook for 30 minutes, stirring constantly. Skim off grease as it cooks. Boil macaroni for 9 minutes. Layer with 1/2 macaroni, 1/2 meat mixture and 1/2 cheese. Repeat. Top with 1 small can tomato sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
