CHINESE BEEF CASSEROLE | |
1 c. rice 1 lb. ground beef 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 c. diced celery 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 c. water 1 tsp. soy sauce 1 c. slivered almonds (opt.) 1 c. chow mein noodles Cook rice in 2 quarts water. Brown ground beef; add onion and celery. Cook until tender. Mix soup and water, add to meat mixture. Add cooked rice, soy sauce and almonds. Mix well, pour into a buttered casserole dish and top with chow mein noodles. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. |
