MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
1/2 to 1 lb. hamburger meat
1 c. yellow corn meal
2 eggs
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 (No. 2) can cream-style corn
1/4 c. Wesson oil
4 jalapeno peppers, chopped
1/2 lb. Longhorn cheese, grated
1 large onion, chopped

Sauté meat. Drain and set aside. Combine next 7 ingredients for batter; set aside.

Grease skillet; heat and brown small amount of additional corn meal. Add meat to batter and stir in.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until done.
