HAM CHOWDER 
3 red potatoes (baking size)
1 lg. onion, chopped & sauteed in butter
2 tbsp. chicken broth granules
1 tsp. dried parsley
10 oz. Velveeta cheese, cubed
2 c. cubed ham
1 pt. half & half
1 box (10 oz.) frozen broccoli or/and mixed vegetables

Boil the peeled potatoes in 1 quart of water. Do not drain. Mash them in their liquid. Then add onion, chicken granules, parsley and simmer 15 minutes. Add cheese and ham. Stir until cheese is melted. Then add frozen vegetables. Do not boil. Do not cover, it will curdle. Cook at medium low heat for about 30-45 minutes. Add half & half about 10 minutes before serving.
