REFRIGERATOR PICKLES 
3 lbs. thinly sliced cucumbers
1 lb. onions, sliced
1 green or red pepper, cut up
1/4 c. salt
Water
2 tsp. celery seed
2 tsp. mustard seed
3 1/2 c. white sugar
2 c. cider vinegar

Wash and slice cucumbers, onions and peppers. Soak in salt and water to cover for at least 2 hours, drain and rinse. Sprinkle celery seed and mustard seed over cucumbers, onions and peppers.

In a pan put sugar and vinegar and cook until sugar dissolves. DO NOT BOIL. Pour over cucumber mixture; cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. Stir once or twice during 24 hour period. Enjoy!
