FRUIT COCKTAIL BREAD | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese 1 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 4 eggs 2 1/4 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 (17 oz.) can fruit cocktail (drained) 1/2 c. chopped nuts Line 2 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pans with aluminum foil. Grease sides and bottoms. Blend cream cheese, butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs. Gradually add flour and baking powder. Fold in fruit and nuts. Pour batter into pans and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Cool in pans at least 10 minutes. Freezes well. |
