SHARON'S SUMMER PASTA 
1 lb. ground beef or turkey
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
3 large fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup sliced ripe black olives, drained
1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes (Hunts)
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
salt and pepper, to taste
2-3 cups uncooked bow-tie or shells pasta
shredded Mozzarella cheese, for sprinkling
grated Parmesan cheese, for sprinkling

Brown meat and onion in skillet. Add green bell pepper and mushrooms when almost done. Reduce heat to low. Add olives, tomatoes and other seasonings. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Simmer while pasta cooks.

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain pasta and serve with meat mixture spooned on top. Top with shredded Mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheeses.
