EGGS LA STRATA 
6 pieces day-old bread
1 1/2 lb. sausage
1 pt. half and half
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
2 lb. Swiss cheese
6 eggs
1 dash Tabasco
1/2 tsp. Beau Monde

Cut each piece of bread into 9 pieces. Grate cheese. Sprinkle over bread. Cook, crumble and drain sausage. In a blender, place eggs, half and half cream and seasonings. Blend. Pour over sausage and bread. Cover it all set it in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning bake it at 350°F for 45 minutes.
