HAMANTASCHEN COOKIE DOUGH | |
1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 1 egg 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 2 tbsp. milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla Cream butter and sugar. Add egg. Mix and sift together flour and baking powder. Add to mixture. Add milk and vanilla. Roll out dough and cut into rounds with teaspoon. Fill with teaspoonful of poppy seed filling (Solo brand in a can) or apricot or prune. Pinch into triangles and bake on greased cookie sheets, after brushing tops with egg white. Bake 375 degrees for 15 minutes. |
