VEAL PAPRIKASH | |
1/2 lb. fresh pork sausage 2 lb. boneless veal (cut into 1" cubes) 3 tbsp. flour 1/3 c. green pepper, chopped 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. paprika 3/4 c. water 1 c. dairy sour cream 3 c. noodles, cooked 1 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. poppy seeds Brown sausage lightly. Remove from frying pan. Dredge veal with flour and brown in sausage drippings. Pour off all drippings. Add sausage, onion, green pepper, salt, paprika and water. Cover lightly and simmer slowly for 1 1/4 hours. Add sour cream and heat through. Mix hot noodles, butter and poppy seeds. Serve veal mixture over noodles to 6 people. |
