SAUCEPAN OATMEAL COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa powder
1/2 c. milk
2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1/4 c. peanut butter
1 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/2 c. butter

In heavy saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa and corn syrup. Stir in milk. Add butter. Bring to boiling; boil vigorously 3 minutes. Stir in rolled oats and peanut butter. Return to boil. Remove from heat; stir until slightly thickened. Immediately drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Cool. Makes about 3 dozen.
