SAN FRANCISCO STEW 
1/2 lb. bacon
1 lb. hamburger
1 lg. can baked beans
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 sm. diced onion
1 sm. can tomato sauce

Fry bacon, crumble. Fry hamburger in bacon fat; drain. Add onion, beans, brown sugar and tomato sauce. Simmer, covered 1/2 hour. Add 1/2 crumbled bacon; mix, salt and pepper to taste. Put mixture in baking dish. Put crumbled bacon on top. Oven at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour uncovered.
