8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1/8 tsp. salt
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix

Combine first 4 ingredients in bowl; beat until well blended. Add chocolate chips; mix well and set aside. Prepare cake mix using package directions. Fill paper - lined miniature muffin cups 2/3 full. Drop 1 spoonful cheese mixture into each cup. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until cakes test done.
