CREAM PIE FILLING 
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter
2 eggs, beaten

Combine all ingredients, except vanilla, in saucepan. Beat with mixer thoroughly. Cook over low flame, stirring constantly. Cook until thick and smooth, then add vanilla. HINT: Use mixer again after adding vanilla if pudding is lumpy. Good in cream puffs.
